Routine stunt ends in tragedy

Tragedy struck today, during a routine stunt at Circus Bedroomus. After successfully performing a variety of “head-stand” maneuvers, a shocking fall saw the near death of Zippy the Penguin. Police have questioned his performing partner – Flexi the Dog – but thus far he has been too upset by the whole incident to speak.

Police have also interviewed audience members about the tragic incident. One on-looker so disturbed by the events, simply giggled during questioning. “That tickles”, and “Oh boy, that tickles” were the only comments police could gather after pressing the witness for information. Police fear that his psychological scars may be permanent.

Despite the lack of information however, the search is on for a Jamaican Lion known only as “Max”, who was spotted running from the crime scene. Max is believed to be about 1 foot high, have dark brown fur, a light brown belly, and a big brown afro. Anyone spotting the lion should not hesitate to contact the police

Thankfully, it is believed that Zippy the Penguin will make a full recovery.
