Toni

Yesterday we went out to celebrate Toni’s birthday. No-one actually knows how old Toni really is, but lets just take a guess and say 30. The team (Errol, Ian, Bender, Konrad, and me) met Toni for lunch at The Zen Bar, followed by drinks on the river at City Rowers. (Note: When Rowers isn’t a nightclub, but instead a quiet place to enjoy a larger, it’s actually really nice! Of course, as soon as the music gets pumped up and the 16 year olds pretending to be 18 come in… well, it’s all downhill from there).

After being kicked off our table for a CGU/NRMA function, we decided that City Rowers was no longer for us, and instead headed over to Fridays. Louisa and old mate (Nathan) met up with us shortly afterwards. It wasn’t long before the craving of Club Sandwiches became overwhelming, so Bender, Lou and I headed up to the Treasury Casino. We bumped into Mel on the way through, who was also tempted by a CafĂ© 21 Club.

All-in-all, it was an excellent way to spend an afternoon. Extra special gerrod.com thanks to Errol & Ian for entertaining us all afternoon. And a huge thanks to Lou for the lift home in blue-boy. Now that’s Treasury.
