Kristy and I had our engagement party this afternoon, at Wyllie Park, Petrie. It was so good to have all of our friends gathered in the same place at the same time! People from almost all walks of life were there – immediate family, cousins, school friends, uni friends, family friends, etc. It was an absolutely amazing afternoon. Thank you so much to everyone that came along and celebrated! I had an awesome time seeing everyone – my apologies to the few people that I didn’t get a chance to catch up with.
My sincerest thanks to Mom and Dad Thomas, and Mum and Dad Harvey for all of the work that went into the event. Thanks also to Debbie for helping out Mom, and for the delicious icing on the cake. Further thanks to Rob Thurley for his help with transporting tables and chairs. And thanks to everyone else that did work that I didn’t even know about!
On a personal note, I certainly hope that everyone enjoyed all the beer, and all the ice that kept the beer cold.
Additionally – if anyone was more diligent than I was in taking photos, could you please send them to me? I didn’t get a chance to take any at all.
