Welcome to the world: “Gillian Mary”

Under pressure from his wife and the local newspaper photographer, Mark today relented to the name “Gillian Mary” for the new baby Mac Namara. When the local newspaper’s photographer came round to take a photo of the new bub, he required a name as a caption for the published shot. As the name was still uncofirmed, Anne rang Mark to find out if he had decided on his preferred name. Though I’m sure he was still campaigning for “Maia” (pronounced “My-er”), he put his pride behind him and declared his support for “Gillian Mary” instead.
