Kristy at Cafe Bello, sporting her newly pierced ears

In preperationg for The Wedding of her lifetime in October, Kristy decided to take the plunge and get her ears re-piered. Of course, I went along for hand-holding support and general encouragement. We rocked up to Acid Gear at Strathpine a few minutes early to peruse their selection of jewellery. After selecting a very chick pair of studs, it was time for the deed to be done. Let me tell you, it’s far more enjoyable watching a piercing, compared to having a piercing done. How they get that needle all the way through someone’s ear, I’ll never know. I guess if you were no good as a piercer, you could always become a butcher.

Anyway – to celebrate (and to use up another Entertainment Book voucher, we trolleyed off to Cafe Bello at Ashgrove, where we both ordered a pasta for dinner. Realistically, gerrod got to have 2 pasta dishes, as neither of them met with Kristy’s approval. But though the pasta did not rate highly on the Krist-ometer, we both agreed that they mix a mean Lemon Lime & Bitters.
