Adventure Day

Kristy decided that we needed to spend some time out of the house, so off we took on Adventure Day today. Starting with Breakfast at The Coffee Club (where they had run out of mushrooms), we then went to Teneriffe and took the ferry across to Bulimba. We were tempted to go and see the new Harry Potter movie, but the line was huge so we gave it a skip and had settled for a coffee at Barista’s instead.

Post ferry ride back we cruised down to Homemaker City – that very trendy bunch of new homemaker shops in The Valley – in search of a new couch. Talk about a huge range! Hard to believe but the couch I liked the most was made from cane (generally, cane furniture doesn’t rate highly on my taste scale). Admittedly, it was over $9,000 – but man, it was comfy.

Anyway, Homemaker City has a huge range of stuff no matter what your tastes are (or aren’t!) – I can highly recommend the experience.
