I managed to get to bed early last night, after an early session of Supersize Me, followed by a McDonalds Sundae. Woke as normal around 4am, but again I managed to get back to sleep quickly. Things seemingly are getting better.
Anyway, today seems to be a bad day for driving. The news details an unfortunate accident in Victoria, where a learner driver lost control of the family’s HSV Club Sport, crossed lanes, and ploughed into a truck. All 5 people in her car were killed. This morning coming onto the gateway motorway, there was a guy stopped in the merge lane. Stopped! His idea of “merging” was to come to a complete halt, put on his indicator, and wait for one of the passing vehicles travelling at 100km/h to politely wave him in. What an idiot – talk about an accident just waiting to happen.
