Old mate Ian was nice enough to pick me up a key of new coffee beans. But with only me in the house, I don’t know how quick I’m going to get through a whole key. Might have to offload some onto the Durhams; I have no doubt they’ll happily accept a donation

Anyway – the blend that I’ve got is called “Abrisca Premium”, and apparently it has won a truck-load of awards. Of course, all the people who judge these things are paid handsomely to give good reviews. I, on the other hand, will be an independant critic. If anyone wants to join me in the reviewing, pop over on the weekend and I’ll make you a nice cap (or latte, or tall black, or whatever it is that you fancy). But call first – I’m a busy man!
