Ever face a situation where you need something to eat, but you couldn’t be bothered going out of the house? That was me, at lunch today. Unfortunately, not having shopped in 2 weeks (impressed, Nelly?) my pantry stocks are a bit low, but I figured that I’d still find something to slap together.
Shortly after looking in the freezer, I had found the answer to my cravings: fish fingers. Now admittedly, I haven’t a clue when they got there, or even how they got there (I don’t really do fish fingers), but the expiry date was September 2004, so I figured they were safe. I also found some bread (which I recognized), some tomato sauce, and a couple of eggs. Sounds like a bang-up sandwich to me!
Unfortunately, the overwhelmingly terrible smell produced by the cooking of the fish fingers made me think that perhaps they were past their prime, so I chose to forgo them. As such, it was eggs and tomato sauce sandwich. Not recommended, but it got me by. Anyone have any better ides for quick-fix meals?

You know they now deliver pizza, hey?
I believe crumbed and fried bacon and cheese sandwiches are pretty tasty..
