Today is Louisa’s 25th birthday – quarter of a century! Quite the milestone, really. To celebrate this momentous occasion, she’s slaving away at work, and no-one there even knows that it’s her birthday. Pretty tragic really! But Kristy and I have it sorted; we’ve got the day off, and we’ll be celebrating on her behalf.
Anyway, Louisa (aka “Roo”) is the Queen of organization, especially when it comes to holidays. She was basically the engine behind our ski trip last year, and she’ll soon be organizing a trip for us to cruise the Greek Islands. What a legend!
Roo is also the Queen of partying, with a proven track record for “backing up”. She’s always up for a night out on the town, no matter what the occasion. Also, she plays a mean hand in denominations, and is a killer at Taboo. She is a very kind, loyal friend, full of determination and an enthusiasm that will take her far in life. (Aside: One of the gifts that Lou got for her birthday was a digital camera, which hubby picked up for a bargain, by buying it off of me. So until I get a new one, I’m effectively digital camera free… which means fewer pictures on blog posts. Sorry!)
