Big Fish

Kristy and I decided to stay in last night, so we cooked a BBQ, and settled in to watch Big Fish.

It’s the tale Edward Bloom’s life of discovery on the road. According to his stories, his years of growning up unfolded like a modern day fairy-tale, including run-ins with giants, jumping spiders, witches, bank robberies, conjoined twins and (of course) one very big fish. Now that he is older, his son Will is determined to sort out the fact from the fiction, in an effort to discover the truth behind his father

Though not in my typical genre, I quite enjoyed this movie. The acting was good, even with Ewan McGregor’s fake Alabama accent. It’s not a movie that you can take much away from, but it’s definately easy watching, and one that will appease the ladies. gerrod.com rating: 7.5/10.

If I read between the lines do I find "chick-flick"?

It wasn’t quite a chick flick, but it was pretty close. Oh well, Kristy owes me for next time :-)
