Well folks, it’s official. Five months and three application forms after starting the process, I have a passport.
I started multiple passport applications online then lost the password repeatedly and had to start from scratch, squabbled with the lady at the Aspley Hypermarket Post Office about having to wait three hours for a five minute passport interview, and forked out the big bucks. Now it seems that the Government has deemed me a suitable ambassador of our fine country. Here’s my passport mug shot to prove it!
I’ve heard that there are a few fashion accessories that go very well with a passport. I’m not thinking Prada or Louis Vuitton. I’m thinking passport stamps, visas, travel destinations and friendly customs officials.
Hopefully they come as a package deal with new husbands…
