Has anyone out there ever set up a site that processes payments online? We’re looking at doing this for work, so I was doing some research yesterday. It seems pretty easy; so far as I can tell, all you have to do is:
- Set up a merchant account with a bank
- Sign up with a payment gateway
- For payments, pass the information from your site to the gateway, and get a response code
Not sure if I’ve missed something here or not; but that seems surprisingly easy. Anyway, if anyone out there has experience doing this, and has some recommendations, I’d love to hear about ‘em.
