A night off

With less than 3 weeks left before the wedding, and with everything else that’s going on at the moment, it was nice to have a night off last night. Kristy came round after work, and after I had sorted out a few final wedding details we invented a recipe for spaghetti and meatballs. They were totally delicious, and will definitely become one of our regular dishes. Following that, we watched a double episode of Survivor (thanks again Monks!). Then it was home time for Kristy, and bed time for me.

Though we all have such busy lives, and so many social offerings, I think it’s important to take time out to just do nothing. I know that I’m certainly a victim for not doing so, which leaves me tired and run down (and in need of more coffee). After such a great night last night, I’m going to try and schedule more “nothing time” in the future.

I concur! It was fantastic to chill out for a little while.

And it’s only on such relaxed nights that the vegetable plants get watered so I’m sure they enjoyed it too!

Get your nothing done now, in case you accidentally have kids. You don’t want to be halfway through doing nothing and be left unable to complete it.
