Ordinarily, it is with a sense of nostalgia and perhaps a hint of sadness that one leaves an organization, thinking back over the fond memories that have been shared with the colleagues that you now call “friends”. Well, not so with IDT. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been happier to see my last day at a workplace. Now admittedly, my 18 months there haven’t been all bad. For example, I cannot express how fantastic the Referral Systems Online team were from beginning to end. Also, IDT had a handful of folk that set themselves apart from the crowd, and were always friendly to us.
Unfortunately though, my last 6 months were not always pleasent. Rivalries between different styles of management and working conditions always led to a very tense, stressful workplace. I don’t think this is the correct forum for me to detail the all gripes that I had; instead, I’d like to thank the folk that made life at IDT a bit more bareable, most especially the RSO team, Karl, Nathan, and Mike. I wish each and every one of you all the very best for the future.
