It has been my goal since the start of the year to get on the Triple J Breakfast Show live, and speak to Adam and Wil. This is their last year in radio, so there’s only a few weeks left!
Early this morning (about 6:10am) I heard my chance! They wanted listeners to ring up and place the Triple J staff on police “crime scene” investigations shows. I figured that Professor Wil was a perfect match for the dude in the CSI lab that goes, “It turns out the tablets were filled with triprolidine hydrochloride!” (to which the investigator always responds, “cold and flu tablets?!”)
Anyway – I got on! So for you early birds out there that heard “Jarrod from Brisbane” on the line this morning – that was me! Though I sounded a bit like Barry White, with my deep “just woken up” voice.
