Kristy and I are off to see Wimbledon tonight. Basically the story line sees an old tennis player at the end of his career playing in his final chance to win a tournament. Of course, his chances are fairly limited until he falls in love with the feisty Kirsten Dunst and gets his oomph back.
Given that the movie is a romantic comedy and follows a fairly predictable storyline, I’m going for a gerrod.com first and pre-rating it. The acting will be soppy, special effects non-existent, but a hand-full of tittering laughter will keep the film moving along. I’m sure it will earn me some brownie points with the missus, and Kirsten is worth an extra point anyway. gerrod.com pre-rating: 6.5/10.
