To celebrate Kristy’s last day of work today, we decided that going out for dinner would be a corker of an idea. As money is somewhat tight this month, we flipped through the entertainment book and went with the first “2-for-1″ voucher we could find. We ended up at Zax at Everton Hills (Jason and Kellie: very close to your place!).
We were both impressed with the menu, but as Kristy was in an indecisive mood I ordered for both of us. Flash fried calamari for entreé, and a Thai Pizza, and Spicy Prawn Pasta for mains. I’ve forgotten the exact name for the pasta, but lemmie tell ya, when they say the prawns are sauteed in a chilli sauce, they weren’t kidding! That baby was hot! Without exaggeration, I gave Kristy a single piece of penné with a tiny bit of sauce, and she was sweating like mad! A couple of wipe downs of the brow, coupled with copious amounts of water, and she recovered.
But to their credit, the food was delicious, the service was fast, and the staff were friendly. A very nice little restaurant that we would definately recommend. They lost a few points on their drinks though, because the Lemon Lime & Bitters was a pre-mix, and due to lack of ingredients they couldn’t make Kristy’s current drink of choice. gerrod.com rating: 7/10.

I just thought I would leave a comment because nobody else was, I don’t why I started reading but I read it all the way to the end. Great story man I couldn’t see one spelling or gramatical error. Right On.
