Well, thankfully I’m feeling a lot better today. The weather has also improved – no rain, and a forecast for 3 – 10 degrees. Work today is again pretty lite on; unfortunately it seems there’s a lot of setup issues to get through still. I’m keen to get into some code though, so hopefully I’ll be able to connect to source safe sometime this morning.
Anyway, I don’t have photoshop installed yet, so I can’t make a decent slideshow of images. Instead you’ll just have to be entertained by this shot of Kristy on top of the Empire State Building. We went up there on our first day, after waiting about 1½ hours. It was a glorious day though, so the view was well worth it. I tried to take a landscape shot on my camera, but as it was so freezing cold I had a lot of trouble keeping it steady. Oh well!

Since when can Kristy go so high without being blown over?? I still remember Telecom Tower (showing my age) in Canberra and dad having to hold on to her to stop Kristy sliding across the viewing platform.
Be careful of the squirrels, they carry rabies, which of course means you have to have the bbq on turbo to burn all the fur off and get a nice crunchy coating. Kinda like a Ferra Rochet, cruncy on the outside, soft and gooey in the middle.
