snowflake

I’ve just come inside from, well from outside obviously, and wanted to share the exciting news that it’s snowing! I couldn’t really see it, but could hear the pitter patter of tiny snowflakes hitting my jacket and could feel the occasional flake hit my face. When little ones hit you it’s not like a raindrop that thuds into you. It’s more like a little pat that drifts down onto you. I can’t describe it very well at all!

It’s getting a little heavier now and I can see it falling. Hopefully it will keep up for a while. We’re still waiting (impatiently) for some real snow. Apparently if/when it reaches 6 inches we can cross country ski in Central Park – how cool is that?

Btw: temperature range today is -2C to 4C. Brrrrr. On Thursday it is expected to warm up to 17C.

I’m waiting for a decent level of snow on the ground so Kristy can make snow angels…

Or alternatively, enough snow to have a snowball fight! Believe me, they are heaps of fun *evil grin*…
