As I mentioned earlier, the entries for the art competition are simply amazing. Kristy and I are so impressed that we want to frame them all, and use them in our unit! (Anyone got theirs in high res?
Here’s how the voting is going to work:
- Votes must be sent via e-mail only (artwork [@] gerrod.com).
- You must allocate 3 votes – the piece that you rate as best will get 3 points, your second favourite will get 2 points, and third for 1 point.
- You’re allowed to vote for your own piece, but only if you truly think it’s the best
. - Voting closes close of business, Monday next week (NYC time)
- Please be clear with your votes!
So without further ado, I am proud to announce the entires (in alphabetical order) – click on the photo for full size image:

I like (8.Workplace M&M Binge) very kool.
A day at the beach is very good, I vote for that. Very teletubbie like, but not as creepy.
number 2. beach side stripes…very artistic i must say
You know me from burgerblog.blogspot.com, sorry a little free advertising in that one. Are these pieces of art for real? They all look like they’ve been ripped off of some else with no taste at all!!
Good of y’all to submit your votes by e-mail
. I’ll still count them, but you realise you get up to 3 votes each?

Bro – That’s a bit harsh… would you like to submit your own entry for judging by the other artists? Heh heh heh…
okay i didnt realise we got three votes,…so for first place: Beachside stripes, 2nd place: a day at the beach and 3rd place is workplace M&M Binge
Ok 3 votes,

1st – A day at the beach
2nd – Happy Sheep with Big Teeth
3rd – Warm Colours
Le-Sticks is the best and then perhaps the sheep with big teeth. Warm colours has overtones of Picasso but doesn’t seem to have a single theme
