Decadent delights

fondue

I have just discovered the perfect way to spend a Friday evening in New York.

Lucy and I have just spent a couple of hours sipping wine, eating chocolate, enjoying an assortment of jazz (or at least ‘jazzy’) music and chit chat. It was absolutely devine!!

The Chocolate Room at Brooklyn was well worth changing subway lines three times to get to! The service was some of the friendliest and most relaxed I have had in the US, the food was incredible (especially the homemade marshmallows dunked in chocolate fondue) and they even had Australian tawny port on the menu!

I hear that they plan to lengthen the, admittedly short, wine list and I think it’s worth a trip back there to check on their progress…
