More international guests! After an exhausting 24 hours, Kristy’s folks have arrived in New York to stay at Hotel Thomas. This is their first international trip!

So far they’ve had a huge few days, with Kristy playing tour guide around the city. They’ve already seen a lot of the big sites, including Times Square, Central Park, and Time Warner. We’ve also given them a taste for some New York food, with Pescatore for dinner last night, Buttercup Bake Shop for dessert, and Abertino’s Pizza for lunch today!

This morning, we accompanied them on a tour of the UN – I figured that since I work there, it’s probably for the best that I know a bit more about what they do, and what goes on in all the other buildings on site. The tour was very interesting, and we got to sit in all of the major chambers, including the Security Council, the Economic & Social council, and the General Assembly. We even had the privilage of a rather cute Egyptian tour guide!

This afternoon, Kristy and I are heading down to the Tribeca film festival, whilst M&D Harvey head over to 5th Avenue. I just hope that Bill can keep an eye on the credit card when the get to Tiffany’s
