I have moved offices at work! Previously I was just “baby-sitting” an office for a guy who was absent for 6 months. But he’s coming back on Monday, and despite my offer to arm wrestle him for it, I still got kicked out without too much say.

So, now I’m on the other side of the building (east instead of west). The bad thing is that I’m no longer sitting next to Craig – it was nice when we held a strong “Australian contingent” on that side of the building. But on the east side, there’s no Aussies in my strip except for me, so I guess it’s a better “balance of power”. Plus I’m now sitting next to Fabia who is just lovely – and my main “client” with my current project.
Also, I no longer look out at The Chrysler Building, which was always a pleasent view. Instead, I’m looking at the UN General Assembly building, and the East River – but I have to get out of my chair to see them (instead of being at eye-level). Anyway, that’s my office pictured here on the right. It’s kinda hard to take a photo of an office, at the end of the day it just looks like a desk, a chair, and a window…. but then again, I guess that’s what an office is

You are lucky, not all offices have windows
<br>I have a glass door that looks out into the factory – yay.
Ohhh! A factory! They have big machines and dials and stuff to play with…
