Oops. Wrong number.

When I got my first mobile phone about eight years ago, the first call I received was a wrong number. It was a sign of things to come.

Lately I get heaps of wrong numbers. And the worst bit is that in the US you have to pay to receive calls as well as to make outgoing calls. So these stupid wrong numbers are costing me money!

When Gerrod gets a wrong number it’s miraculously from a fellow Aussie so they get to do the whole fun, “G’day mate” thing. When I get a wrong number it’s normally from someone who doesn’t even speak English.

Today I got the wrong number to end all wrong numbers. It’s a big call, but I bet you can’t top this one. You know how sometimes somebody accidentally dials by sitting on their phone or something? Today a budgie did that to me. Seriously. There was no human voice, no talking, just a couple of birds tweeting away. I wonder how much that call cost me.

I’m with you on this one. We still get fax calls every day!!!!! Aparently it is from overseas so Telstra can’t trace it. Change our number or be annoyed is there advice.

I don’t know how they can get away with making you pay for unsolicited calls. It sucks!

We also get faxed at our home number quite frequently – although not every day. We come home to "beeeeep…beeeep" on our answering machine.
