Having mastered the technique for frothing milk (thanks to some helpful tips from Craig), my talented hubby has now moved on to coffee art. You know what I’m talking about. Those artist patterns that baristas make in the top of your coffee cup, simply by moving the milk jug during pouring. As opposed to the cheat patterns I used to make with a stencil and some cocoa.
Now me, I’m just happy to have a tasty coffee, as opposed to the dishwater some coffee shops in tne neighbourhood try to pass off as coffee. But not Gerrod. What can I say? The man strives for perfection. You’ll notice the perfect K in the cup pictured. He aims to master the leaf pattern they make at Joe’s Coffee. And though I took some convincing, the bottom photo is evidence. A good looking coffee even tastes better! Aaaaaah.

The ‘K’ is very cool indeed. What is the blob in the cup behind though? A snowman?

Michelle: Err… snowman… sure! (It’s kinda more like a blob, but a snowman is just fine

Durhams: Interesting tips you have there for the girlie! I’m happy to make the coffee though; in fact, I’d love a job as a barista! But yes, it certainly is getting warmer – but still nice and cool at nights, which is good for sleeping.
