It seems like every year about now, it’s Bender’s birthday – and this year is no exception. Although, this is the first year for many that Kristy and I can’t celebrate in person with him – given that he’s in London and we’re in New York.
11 years ago when we first met in the lunch room at Coles, I’d have never guessed that not only would we become such close friends, but that we’d both be overseas in different part of the world. Most folk that read this site already know Bender, so other than a bit of ego polishing there’s no need to rant on about what champ he is. But one of the greatest moments of our friendship for me was having him by my side as one of my groomsman when Kristy and I got married.
