Since arriving here, Jason has been telling us how much better Krispy Kreme’s donuts are compared to Dunkin’ Donuts. So tonight, I put he and Michelle up to the donut challenge!
4 plates were laid out, each with a single donut on it (cut into 4 pieces so we could all participate). The plates were labelled “A” – “D”. Jason and Michelle each had a score card, and had to write down which vendor each of the donuts were from.
And the result? Michelle proved a very confused donut consumer, with a dismal 1 out of 4 correct. Jason scored slightly better with 2 out of 4 – clearly proving that the difference is marginal at best. Kristy had consumed a few too many beers to make her vote count – not only that, but she didn’t even get through all 4 quarters anyway.
So the conclusion? A donut is a donut, though perhaps some more research is required. Any volunteers?

I would just like to state for the record the original challenge was going to be to pick between a DD and a KK jam donut -which also happens to be the one on the test that I got correct!
The thing about Krispy Kremes is that theyre just a completely different kind of donut than the ones you get at DD’s. Krispy Kremes are first of all, only worth a tin damn if theyre *fresh*. Preferably still warm. But still, they’re just another animal from DD’s donuts– DD’s have a wider variety and they cater to those of us who prefer our donuts either filled, or with "stuff" on them.

DD’s makes significantly better *coffee*, however, and really… that’s worth it right there.
I think Krispy Kreme donuts are the way to go, you can’t get them in Brisbane but you can get them at Sydney airport. So every person thats goes to Sydney, I make sure they bring one back for me!!
Pick me, pick me!!! It’ll be tough, but I’ll put my body on the line in the name of research!
Mmmmmmmm. Donuts.
Yep I want to take the donut challenge!!!
