It’s been a big week already, and it’s only Tuesday night (don’t forget the timezone conversion, kids!). After almost a year of married life, Kristy and I have finally become DINKs – that’s, [D]ouble [I]ncome [N]o [K]ids for the non-acronym savvy out there. I guess that so far, there hasn’t been too many changes for me – except I have to fight the monsters in the kitchen for myself in the mornings, rather than having my omlettes made up for me!
Last night was spent like any night after the first day of work should be spent – bludging in front of the tele (though we did muster up enough energy to hit the gym). Tonight we headed up to a restaurant called Rosa Mexicana to catch up with Justin, our friend who works for Marriott. The food was good, and the service was great – but the menu is on the pricey side.
So it’s not even 10 PM, but we’re both exhausted and bed is looking awfully appealing. G’night!
