You CAN’t imagine what a group of artists, engineers, designers and contractors can do with a bunch of cans of food. But you’d have even more trouble imagining how many puns they can come up with.
This weekend we strolled down to Murray Hill to check out Canstruction an annual charity event where highly skilled design-types take food cans and make rather large sculptures.
Of course, my fave was the family of penguins, very cleverly named “CANtarctic”. If you’re interested to see more examples, such as the CANstellation, Pirates of the CANibbean (complete with Captain Crunch at the helm), CrustaceCAN or ChickCAN of the Sea…
