Would you look at this place? It’s covered in shopping bags, boxes, and general everyday mess. Kristy and I spent about 7 hours yesterday doing what most of you girls love the best – playing XBox! Whoops, I mean, shopping!
After an unsuccessful search for Krispy Kremes at Penn Station, we hit the stores in Herald Square. First we went to Famous Footwear, then spent a few hours in Macys. It was already dark by the time we left, but on our walk home we also managed to shop at Shoe Mania, and Lord and Taylor.
Thankfully though, all that shopping was quite successful, especially for Kristy who picked up 3 new pairs of shoes and a few new outfits for work. Not so successful for me, only picking up a new pair of boots for work (nice and waterproof, good for the upcoming snow season). Oh, we also bought Kristy’s first Kristmas present!
All that shopping wore us out rather well, so much so that Kristy is sporting an injured wrist from carrying all the shopping bags. Needless to say, it’s been a slow start to Sunday.
