The Denny’s Challenge

Home of “Chicken fried Chicken” (yes, really), Dennys represents everything that you’ve come to imagine about a stereotypical American fast-food chain. But with a lack of options that were close to our hotel in Buffalo, Kristy and I found ourselves there for Breakfast on Saturday.

The menu was simply overflowing with options, and almost eveything was priced under $10. Most dishes came with at least 2 eggs, bacon, and sausages, and get this – a side of 3 buttermilk pancakes! Most people I know would struggle to get through the 3 pancakes alone!

Suffice to say that Kristy and I didn’t even come close to finishing our meals. In retrospect it would have been smarter to share a meal, but hey, when in Rome America…

Just think of all the extra km’s on the treadmill!

Well if you are following the "when in America" theme, you should have both had the full bacon (fat intact)and eggs, plus the pancakes, plus a few Krispy Kreme’s on the way home, and wash it all down with some dishwater like coffee

Good point, actually they had a “Krispy Kreme Factory” in Buffalo, it was the size of a restaurant! If time wasn’t of the essence (we were running a bit late for our flight) then we would have paid them a visit.
