We’ve only been here for just over a week, but already it was time to say goodbye to some. Yesterday morning, we had a final brunch on Racecourse Road with Team BaM, and Ben’s sister Leisa – all who flew out yesterday to different parts of the world. Spesh’s lovely parents – Ray and Maree – also joined us for brunch, as did Louisa who managed to take a morning off from her hectic schedule.
For Team BaM, their holiday continues with their honeymoon in Thailand. We know their going to have an awesome time – I just hope that all the shopping they acquire fits into their luggage! Leisa is headed back to her home away from home – Japan – where she teaches English to the little kiddies.
The rest of our day was spent with more catching up – sushi and coffee in the city with Pat, and then dinner with Kristy’s wonderful uni friends, Jo, Julian and Shelley. Dinner was at the very scrumptious Pane Vino, and Julian and I followed that up with gelati from Gelatissimo, which made us both feel sick. But hey, it sure was tasty!

There’s also the possibility of option c) their eyes still haven’t adjusted to the sheer volume of light that Queensland has to give after excessive time in London!
