Click

I don’t like Adam Sandler films. I never have. Something about the bathroom humour just really annoys me. So you won’t be surprised to hear that my least favourite moments in Click would be described as “classic Sandler”.

I was, however, pleasantly surprised with the majority of other aspects of the flick. The casting was fabulous (who doesn’t love Kate Beckinsale and Henry “the Fonz” Winkler?), the serious climactic moments were touching, and the moral was unmistakably clear.

Put your family first.

Don’t wish away aspects of your life in the hope of just living the highlights reel.

And remember that the choices you make and priorities you set on the little things flow through to the big things too. For example, interrupting your conversation with your child to respond to a work email quickly escalates to missing the school play to attend a business meeting.

I would have preferred to see Vince Vaughn or another actor capable of creating a bit more character depth in the role, but apart from that, it was a great movie. Kinda like the modern version of Dickens’ Christmas Carol. See it.

Hey Kristy, I too loved the movie! I think that I will ask Kate out when I get a chance.
The movie was a little far fetched though. Not sure that a guy like Adam Sandler could land a chick like Kate.

That’s a fair point Micah! She is truly gorgeous!
