Do people actually buy that stuff?

Upon entering our building last night I saw a big box had been delivered to a tenant from HSN – the home shopping network. So it seems that people (other than Homer Simpson) actually do buy that stuff! I wonder if it was the doggy steps that help your arthritic pooch climb up onto the couch next to you…

They do. They buy A LOT of that stuff. It’s sometimes funny to watch for a bit and see how they sell it, and listen to the people calling in. Anyway, I have to admit I’ve bought some Philosophy products off QVC. Hey, it was a good deal! ;)

Funny you should mention it, but i was chatting to a girl at a bbq recently who works for a UK home shopping network – she says that they will shift literally tens of thousands of units of a product in a night if they have a special offer on, particularly hi-fi stuff. I can’t imagine ever purchasing anything off the telly!
