There wasn’t a lot that happened on Friday, yet there were lots of things to take photos of. Firstly, walking to work this week I noticed that there was a film crew on 48th and 1st – right next to Trump International Tower. How exciting – filming in our neighbourhood! I’m not sure what they were filming for (maybe Spiderman 3 again?), but unfortunately, no celebrity spots.
I figure that it must be something decent that they’re filming, because (a) it’s a Paramount truck parked there, and (b) there was a breakfast tent set up every morning! (Thanks to my paparazzi wife for the photo!)
Anyway – the filming theme continued as I got closer to work. Something’s obviously going on at the UN that has piqued the interest of the press (most likely the meeting of the Security Council over the Middle East crisis), so there’s press crews all about the place.
Seeing the press about the UN isn’t uncommon, but I’ve never seen so many as I did on Friday.
When I got to my office a little later, I found my it in complete disarray. I had kind-of expected it; they plastered our floor with signs warning us that they’d be painting, so I guess they had to re-arrange everyone’s office so they could get to the walls.
It’s rather cramped in there now – you can see boxes of junk (not mine, I seem to have inherited it with the office) right next to my chair, so there’s not much room to wheel around. I hope they move everything back – that desk is made from solid iron, and I reckon it would weigh in well over 100 kilos!

I reckon that the movie is Legally Blonde 3. (Just Kidding)
Wow dude, your desk looks a little tight there.
