It’s a beautiful day

After the heatwave that we’ve had in New York recently, today was just perfect. Temperatures were around the high 20′s or low 30′s, and humidity was down to a reasonable level. What’s more, the sky was clear and blue, rather that the usual smoggy and grey! Here’s a picture I took around 6PM tonight, just after getting home from work.

For the curious, the view is looking south down 1st Avenue, from 52nd Street. The tall black building on the right is Trump World Tower, and the smaller building behind it is UN Plaza 1 – which is attached to the building I work in!

Oh – and to make the day even better, the doorman delivered those six magic words when I came in today, so now my new notebook is running magnificently on 2GB of RAM .
