Just trumping along

There hasn’t been a lot of action since our little friend Jo left us.

Kristy was sick yesterday, so she spent the day at home resting and catching up on some easy-going domestic duties. I, on the other hand, had an uber-busy day at work, and didn’t end up leaving until after 7:30pm. I also had some physio to work on my ankle, which was great because today it’s feeling just swell.

Today was more of a normal day at work, so at 6:30pm we joined some of my colleagues at Trump World Tower for some drinks at The World Bar. It’s only a few blocks downtown from our place, yet we’ve never been there. It’s lovely! And at happy hour, their prices are surprisingly affordable (think: $5 for a hoegaarden). Definitely somewhere that we’ll be heading back to me thinks.

We had chinese delivered for dinner. The rice came in cute little boxes.

I went to a pub on the way to Roma and if you pay more than $3.50AU for lunch and a beer then you’re paying too much.
Granted the beer doesn’t taste as good as a hoegaarden, and the lunch has things crawling in it, but that’s not the point.

This is the first time I’ve been described as “little” for a long time, but especially since I left home.

    Thanks G 😉
