Psychedelic baroque?

One of the cool things about where we work is that almost everyone is from somewhere different – at the most, you have two or three people that may be from the same place. (Well, with the exception of Phillipinos, they seem to be a dime a dozen! heh heh heh…)

This fact was especially highlighted for us on the weekend, when we were invited to celebrate Luiz’s 30th birthday, which Fabia kindly hosted at her pad. Wondering why we’re wearing the ears, aren’cha? Well, the theme was “psychedelic baroque”, and we were told to apply that however we felt appropriate. And in my mind, nothing screems baroque like a pair of mickey ears…

Anyway, back to my point. Luiz summed up the multinational thing the best in his post-celebration e-mail: During the party, you all had a chance to mingle with at least one representative of: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Colombia, England, France, Germany, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Romania, Russia, Spain and good old U.S.A..

Cool, hey?

I like the shirt too but there is an unfortunate crinkle that changes the last letter of the last word to look like a K.
