We’re taking advantage of some cheap(ish) airfares this weekend, and heading down to Fort Lauderdale for a visit to the Cooke’s. It has been 5°C or less in New York for the past two weeks, so it will be nice to go and enjoy some 25°C weather for a while. (Of course, today the cold spell is finally breaking, just as we’re flying out – but hopefully it will still be nice and warm on our way back in!)
Of course, I’m sure that after a week or two of these temps I’ll be wishing it was winter again. I guess you can never win.
Anyway, since my hair was starting to look a bit ragged, I decided I’d give it a quick snip before we go. Ahh, there’s nothing like the feeling of nice cool air on a freshly shaven head!
I hope you settle in ok, and get used to the bugs again.
