All the trees have really started turning, so Autumn (or is it “Fall” over here?) has really taken grip. I’ve been meaning to go down to our local park – Turnham Green – and take some photos as all the yellow leaves look just splendid. Unfortunately though, today was not the best weather – the light, as Kristy put it so well, was “very unfriendly”.

In other news, Nathan and I accompanied Bender out to Brent Cross where his MacBook Pro was awaiting his pickup. It would seem as though a MacBook is a featherweight, because it couldn’t even handle the 1/2 a pint of beer or so that Bens gave it! Anyway, the shop staff didn’t think that was right either, so they’ve given it a complete liver transplant, and now it’s ready to hit the town again.

Whilst we were there, we also did some browsing for a nice winter coat for me, and it was good to the advice of some lads that have already endured a season here. I didn’t end up getting one (though there was a lot of mind-changing), so I’m still on the lookout. But I’ve vowed that I won’t go for another season with only my ski-jacket for warmth.
