Bang bang! No haircut!

It’s Guy Fawkes Night here tonight, and people are going absolutely bonkers with fireworks to celebrate. Truth be told, there’s been fireworks all weekend, but tonight there seems to be the most. Around 7:30 PM – right during dinner time, and while we were trying to watch Scrubs – the “official” fireworks started. I know they were close to our house because they were super loud, but unfortunately we couldn’t see them out of our window (like we could on the weekend).

The official show seemed to last about 20 minutes, and since then it seems as though every man and his firework loaded kids has been out popping those babies into the night sky. I can’t help but admit that I’m partially jealous, as I’ve never actually fired a firework myself… I think next year I’ll do some more research into obtaining some!

Anyway, I was supposed to get my hair cut tonight. I made an appointment with Rodrigo, like, six weeks ago, when I had the unfortunate experience of having a trim from Christine/a. But when I got there tonight, the salon was sans Rodrigo! Instead, they’d switched my appointment to none other than… Christine/a! Then they had the hide to tell me that, “that’s who it must have been booked with the whole time”! Strangely though, the girl who booked the appointment all that time ago was there tonight, and she said that my appointment “was not written in her writing”, even though I saw her write it in originally. So I reckon they moved the appointment, didn’t bother telling me, and then hoped I wouldn’t notice that Rodrigo had doubled his weight and become a woman.

I’m booked in again – with Rodrigo – for next Wednesday. Lets see which stylist I get when I turn up.

Hmmm … sounds like that is a dodgy way Christina can get clients. I personally have resolved not to go there again. I would rather cut my own hair then have hear Gary’s life story one more time. Otherwise I would recommend him.

Maybe I should ring up and pretend to be you and change your next Wed appt to be with Christina. Would that be funny?

Yes. Ha ha. Boy, would I laugh.

I think if I go back and I’m rescheduled to Christina, I’ll go round to Kirsty’s house for a trim instead.
