High Street Kensington

I remember the first time I came to London, thinking that “Kensington” sounded like one of those proper English suburbs that was straight out of a Hugh Grant movie. As it turns out, it’s also I suburb that I quite like – in fact, from all the places that I’ve seen in London, High Street Kensington would have to be one of my favourite. I think in the last four weekends, I have been there three times!

Anyway, the 27 bus takes us straight there, and since it starts its route from just down the road, we always get pole position seating. Here’s a video of how the journey looks from the front seat of a red double decker bus:

I don’t know if my fav bit is watching how fast the lady crosses the road in front of the bus, or when the number 10 ‘melts’ into us at the Hammers bus garage… very cool vid G!
Oh, and where did you find that hot hot bloke to commentate for you at the end ;)

Ahh… Memories. You passed by the place I used to work for a client of ours. On the edge as you approached high street ken, there’s a park definitely worth visiting. Also, if you get a chance to walk some of the back streets, you see some really amazing houses.
