It’s been so very windy in London over the last few days! At Cardinal Place, where we often go for lunch, you can barely walk between the buildings, as they act like a giant wind tunnel. Still, it’s entertaining for the kids (and the adults that act like kids)!
On Monday night, we reinstated quiz nights. This time however, we decided to let one person do all the questions, which relieves the pressure on everyone to prepare every time. Since I was the quizmaster for this round, I threw in some tricky ones, such as “Identify this famous song, which is playing backwards”, and “Here’s a slideshow of 17 famous faces, how many do you know?” – plus of course, the obligatory “Lightning Round!” where everyone only had 5 seconds to answer each question.
Tim (of Tim and Justine fame) was the winner by over 10 points, and for his efforts he took home a £15 gift card to HMV. Overall I think the night was great fun, and I like the new format. Who’s taking the torch for the next quizmaster?

Yes it was great thanks, quizmaster! I believe Justine grabbed the torch from you as we were leaving on Monday… or maybe it was me.
