Yes, that’s how far I’d go to show Gerrod I love him. And in a manner of speaking, that’s where we went on Valentine’s day!
In a somewhat more truthful manner of speaking, we went to West Brompton for a Thai massage at Sabai Leela, to Chelsea for an Italian dinner at La Famiglia restaurant (good food but unfriendly service from Luigi) and to the World’s End Distillery for a drink at a rather chic bar. Interestingly, the last two are located on The Kings Road, which used to function as a private road by which Charles II travelled to Kew Palace. Now it’s open to any Tom, Dick or Gerrod, and the 22 red double decker bus, which carried us home in style.
Then it was into the Putney gang lounge room, for a romp in Madrid and Barcelona courtesy of Almodovar’s film ‘All About My Mother’. Let’s just say that Spain wasn’t Gerrod’s fave destination of the day (the transvestite prostitute, pregnant nun, and lesbian actress all proved a bit too dramatic) but other than that it was a romantic round the world trip! (too corny?)

You can’t be TOO corny in my book! It’s lovely to see the celebration of romance continuing
I imagine you have two audiences here, and in the guys camp I would probably say a little corny
Yeah, I’m inclined to agree Ben. I just couldn’t resist the pun!
