While we were in Wales, we visited Cardiff bay for lunch one afternoon. All-in-all, it was a bit of a non-event, however there was one major highlight: on our way back to the car, we spotted an all-too-rare example of a Chav in training!
You can see that it’s still early days for the little Chav, as he hasn’t earned any bling yet. From where we were standing it was hard to tell what he was doing, but it looked like he was being paraded around the city by his proud grandparents. I’m not familiar with the Chav sub-culture, so I’m not sure what this ritual represents; I can only guess it’s along the lines of a Debutante ball, and perhaps called the “Chaverton Walk”.
I’m just thankful that our little camera has a 12x zoom lens, as it allowed me to discretely get this shot without needing to get too close, and risk disturbing the Chav in his natural environment.

He looks like a punk! or is that being chavenistic?
