A kitchen complete (well, almost)

After six long weeks of waiting, the finishing touches were finally put onto our kitchen. So as of the 17th of October (wow, two weeks ago now!), our kitchen is complete!

Happy chef

And, now that our stuff has arrived from the UK, our espresso machine is operating at full capacity, in its new home at the back-right hand corner of the kitchen. Mornings are a whole lot better now!

Technically, there’s still one thing left to do. As it turns out, our rangehood is faulty. It does work, but not quite as it should. For example, speed one doesn’t function at all. And, when you switch from speed three back to speed two, sometimes it doesn’t actually step down, sometimes it does, and sometimes, the lights turn themselves on instead. It’s a bit unpredictable, and certainly isn’t how we had imagined it would work!

Anyway, a technician has come out twice to try and fix it, and having failed both times, has now ordered us a new one. But realistically, that’s the least of my concerns. We have a kitchen, and we couldn’t be happier!
