Four months!

Hands up if you turned four months old today!

So Oscar – aka little man, Mr Moo, Shnookie (or Sookie, depending on his mood), baby Awesome, cheeky boy, little buddy – continues to grow up… fancy that?!

He’s ace at grabbing toys in both hands, continues to love his play gym, and in the last two days has discovered his feet. He smiles and giggles and acts coy, flirts with himself in the mirror and reaches out for things and people he likes. He puts a lot of effort into trying to roll over, and is almost there.

He’s very sensitive to loud noises, and has been known to cry after hearing someone sneeze. He pushes his bottom lip out into an adorable pout right before he cries. Apparently I was famous for my “cash register lip” too.

He’s at his sweetest when he wakes up and looks up with his still blue eyes and smiles like he wants nothing more than to spend the next hour and a half playing with only you. Then it’s back to bed for his beauty sleep.

We love taking walks together, reading books, visiting with his extended family, having the occasional swim, and welcoming Daddy home at the end of a long day’s work. His current favourite tunes are Rockabye Baby versions of Coldplay and Radiohead. Oh, and the alphabet as performed by Mummy.
