Gyoza Soup

Today I tried the Duck Gyoza from EAT for lunch, and I have to say, it was sensational. Plenty filling, yet only 5% fat!

My only criticism is that it’s so full when you get it, that its near impossible to stir. I didnt even realise there were noodles in thete until I got right to the bottom!

Still; that’s really my only complaint. I’ll definitely be having that one again.

We are in Düsseldorf celebrating Kirsty’s 30th.

It’s cold. Really, really cold.

Wales

For the bank holiday this weekend, wife and I have headed to a log cabin in Caerphilly, Wales. We are without agenda! However, we’re planning on doing a big walk around the countryside, hopefully some mountain-biking, and possibly some castle visiting.

For the moment though, we’re enjoying a lazy morning – coffee and breakfast, with a view.

How’s the serenity… ?

Long weekend!

We decided to gate-crash Nick and Suzie’s idea of spending the long weekend down in Devon. We left work promptly yesterday afternoon at 4 PM for the three-and-a-half hour drive, expecting that we’d hit a little traffic on the way. Well, seven hours later, and we finally arrived at our lodge at Mullacott Park!

I didn’t sleep so grand last night – first time in a foreign bed and all that. So now I’m sitting on the couch contemplating if I should cut my toe nails or not, whilst the others are all fast asleep in their rooms. C’mon dudes, let’s get this weekend underway!
